Buyer’s Companion inspectors routinely recommend Phase I and Phase II Environmental Risk Assessments. In rare circumstances, a Phase III Risk Assessment is recommended as needed. Mold and mildew testing is available locally, and although Buyer’s Companion inspectors do not claim mold and mildew expertise, our thoroughness can not be matched. When you control the moisture, you control the mold. Other environmental testing is available through Buyer’s Companion’s building inspection professionals.

After more than fifteen years in the construction and inspection industry, Buyer’s Companion inspectors are trained in the visual identification of many environmental hazards such as asbestos, lead paint, and fuel oil. These hazards are routinely pointed out as part of our consulting service, and do require additional testing from a federally approved testing laboratory. |
